Trick-or-Treating in 2007

Why didn't we think of that?

CHEERS 2 U

Go DAWGS!!

The Sweet P's enjoyed cheering on the dawgs at the homecoming game. Here they are with several of their babysitters who just happen to be UGA cheerleaders! What fun! Lucky us!

Just catching up...

Well, it's been a while...I still have a hard time posting often, but hopefully it will get better. Part of the problem is no one knows about it, except my friend Mrs. Benson. I was inspired by her comments so I thought I would post again. We have had quite the busy last few weeks. Thanksgiving holidays start Wednesday, so just one more day of school. We'll be 'on the road again' traveling between families. We went to Dillsboro, NC to ride the Peanuts Great Pumpkin Patch Express. The trip was fun and we took lots of good pictures. My girls are growing up so fast. They are each so unique in their own way. My oldest completed a school assignment today with a drawing and written statement about what she was thankful for...get a tissue....she said, "I am thankful for my redheaded family". Each person had their characteristics in place. She's only 5! What a blessing! I am so thankful for my redheaded family too, and for the one's who weren't blessed with red hair too! I am thankful for friends too, a great job, a wonderful husband, and the best dog in the world. Until next time, keep smiling keep singing and certainly keep laughing...mrs. p

FAIRmaidens

Is there anything better than going to the fair? Sure there is...going with your sister, your best friend. The Sweet Ps had a ball last weekend at the Georgia National Fair. Too much money spent, too many bottom-of-the-barrell stuffed animals won, too much fair junk food...no such thing!!!! Until we meet again, keep smiling and keep laughing! Mrs. P :)

my inspiration

Check out this site for some inspiration www.superryan.blogspot.com Just when you thought your life was tough, meet the M family. WOW! Mom and son continue to shine through the midst of darkness. Please pray for them daily and then count your many blessings...until we meet again, keep smiling, keep singing and definitely keep laughing (out loud)! love, mrs. p :)

here i go...

it's finally here...my very first BLOG. i owe it all to my endless-activity and very creative friend, ms. b. she never ceases to amaze me....how does she find the time? i challenged myself after i found myself returning to the www.thebensonfamilyandotherstuff.blogspot.com day after day to see if she had posted a new BLOG. i thought to myself, that would be kind of fun and surely i could find a little time to post at least a couple of times a week. thanks to the b family for inspiring me!
wow! our family has been in a decision-making marathon the last few months. we have returned to our home in BULLDOG country, the one that didn't sell in over a year on the market. mr. p has taken a new job that he LOVES and feels great about, what a pleasant change. it is difficult living apart for the time being, but hey, we can do anything for each other! the girls are loving school and my new job is GREAT. i am meeting some great friends thanks to my ever-so-popular kindergartener! until we meet again, keep smiling and laughing....mrs. p :)
